Contact
We operate one purpose-limited inbound email address: info@pgsa.io. We do not host a contact form, run a live-chat widget, take logins, or accept payment. We do not answer transit inquiries.
Anyone claiming to be PGSA.IO and soliciting payment, vessel particulars, transit clearance, or anything else not covered below is not us. See Scam watch.
What info@pgsa.io is for
- Source corrections. If we have linked or summarised a source incorrectly, send a primary-source link and the affected URL on this site. We correct in public with a visible note and timestamp, per the editorial principles in About.
- Scam reports. If you have received a communication impersonating PGSA, the Persian Gulf Strait Authority, or any of the operators listed on Scam watch, you may forward it (preserve full headers). We will add confirmed indicators to the public list. Do not include any payment, do not engage the sender, and do not include personally identifying information about your vessel beyond what is needed to characterise the impersonation.
- OSINT tips on already-public material. Pointers to public reporting we may have missed. We aggregate the public record only — see "What this address is not for" below.
What info@pgsa.io is not for
- Not for transit inquiries. We will not respond to questions about whether, when, or how to transit the Strait of Hormuz. Coordinate with UKMTO, your flag-state maritime administration, your P&I club, your war-risk underwriter, and qualified counsel.
- Not for transit-fee or PGSA payment questions. We do not broker, validate, or facilitate any payment to any party. See pgsa.ir explained and FAQ.
- Not for anonymous tips or non-public leaks. We aggregate the public record. Operators with non-public information should report it through UKMTO, the IMB PRC, or their flag state. See editorial principles.
- Not for sanctions advice. Contact OFAC directly and consult qualified counsel.
- Not authenticated. We cannot verify the identity of senders. Treat any reply from
info@pgsa.ioas informational only and verify by visiting this site directly.
Where to direct different requests
- Transit coordination
- Contact UKMTO directly. UKMTO is the primary point of contact for merchant vessels in the region. Your flag-state maritime administration and your P&I club also maintain operational desks.
- Incident reporting
- Report maritime security incidents to UKMTO, the IMB Piracy Reporting Centre, and your flag state. If a U.S. nexus exists, the FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center (ic3.gov) accepts maritime fraud reports.
- Sanctions questions
- Contact OFAC directly for official guidance on Iran-related sanctions programs. Consult qualified counsel and your P&I club's sanctions desk.
- Press inquiries
- We do not operate a press desk. Reporters and analysts may cite freely from this site under the editorial principles in About. If you need a one-pager describing the project for citation purposes, request it at info@pgsa.io; we do not give exclusive interviews or publish on-record statements.
What we will not do
- We will not respond to transit inquiries.
- We will not broker, sell, or facilitate transit authorizations, vessel clearances, or any interaction with the Persian Gulf Strait Authority or the IRGC.
- We will not accept payment in any form, from any party, for any purpose.
- We will not run a contact form, a live-chat widget, or any inbound channel beyond the single purpose-limited email above.
- We will not create logins, accounts, or authenticated sessions.
Why this posture
The editorial principles in About explain the rationale. In brief: a site with no financial stake, no client relationships, and no operational role is harder to compromise and harder to impersonate than one with any of those. Every channel we do not operate is an attack surface that does not exist. The single inbound channel exists because corrections-in-public is a stronger editorial discipline than corrections-by-DM, and because the scam-watch function only works if recipients of impersonation attempts can forward what they received.
